SYS Supervisor Statement on an Election NB information session for people interested in being a candidate in the next municipal election

Dear Residents:

As you may be aware, three communities in New Brunswick are under supervision. SYSRC, Strait Shore and Miramichi River Valley. The three supervisors are cooperating to have Elections NB deliver an on-line information session to anyone in the three communities who are considering running in the next municipal election.

This session is currently scheduled for the evening of January 20^th from 6:30 to 7:30. The Chief Electoral Officer will take questions at the end of the session. This will be open to those who are considering being a candidate without of course it being seen as a commitment to be a candidate.

This is only a heads up for now and more information will be communicated to you in early or mid January including how to join the session and whether you need to pre-register.
