Hi Everyone,
Our supervisor Greg Lutes and I (Cindy Ogden) have discussed providing the community with regular reports to keep everyone informed on what is happening in Sunbury-York South.
Updated information will include regular notices, monthly finance reports, and information about municipal business that would normally be made public at Council meetings.
Special Meeting Sept 23, 2025
- The recreation agreement with the Town of Oromocto was approved and signed
- The animal control agreement with the NBSPCA was approved and signed

The following Minutes will be approved and put on the website soon:
- May 19, 2025, Special Council Meeting
- May 20, 2025, Regular Council Meeting
- July 3, 2025, Special Council Meeting
- July 10, 2025, Committee of the Whole Meeting
When we receive minutes from the September meetings they will be approved and posted as well.
The draft 2024 audited financial statements have been received and will be reviewed by the Auditor, Greg and myself in the next week or two before approving them and posting them on the website. Once the financials have been approved, they will be added to the 2024 Annual Report and once that report is approved, it will also be available on the website.
In the upcoming weeks, we should be receiving actual budget numbers for Fire, Recreation, RCMP and Local Government for the Cost of Assessment for the 2026 budget resulting in a more accurate budget.
